“ Very cute place place with delicious food and drink options. I ordered the honey sea salt latte and a tartine (forgot the name and I can't seem to find it on the menu here). I went with two friends and we all ordered a different drink and different tartine, then shared; everything was absolutely delicious. I'm actually not a big fan of Italian foods, but this place really exceeded my expectations. The person working the counter was super kind, as were the other workers. There's a cute backyard patio with a Vespa for decor. Medium to low noise level, if you're looking to study. Overall, adorable and delicious. The only complaint I have is that it was VERY expensive, even for San Diego... and yet, I will say it is worth your while. ”

“ I always love finding a new coffee shop when meeting up with friends for a weekday coffee date! I tend to avoid this area because of parking, but it was no problem at 9am mid week. Bica is a cute coffee shop. They have a curated menu with all the regular options. I got a matcha latte. They offer a limited number of pastries in the morning. They also have a little grocery section with refrigerated and dry goods. Seating is all outside, so plan to go when the weather is good (which is almost all the time in SD). ”

“ Been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint! Pretty small storefront with all outdoor seating but it was a sunny day so we were happy to sit outside. I got the salted honey latte and my friend got the brown butter date latte. Both were very good and not too sweet. For food we shared the ricotta toast and the tuna sandwich and both of these were SO SO good. The toast is the perfect balance of flavors with the seasonal jam and olive oil and the tuna on the sandwich was super fresh. The staff was super nice and they even bring your coffee out to you on the patio! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a tasty little treat. ”

We had the Ricotta Tartine, Smoked Salmon and Lox, Matcha Tea a Sea Salt Latte but my favorite was the Egg Custard Tart (A MUST TRY!) The staff is always upbeat and friendly, always a good time and good eats here at Bica ”

“ My favorite neighborhood coffee shop. This place is cute, has great food and drinks, and outdoor seating fitting for catching up with a friend or working on things. I am a big fan of their toasts. The ricotta toast and avocado toasts are a light and healthy way to start the morning. Would highly recommend checking out this place if you're in the area. I try to make a visit every time I'm in normal heights. ”

“ Loved it! There was a line out the door when we came on a Mon for lunch but it moved pretty quickly. You order inside and they bring your food and drinks out to you. No indoor seating, all outdoor on their partially covered patio or in some small two person tables in the front of the shop. They were out of a couple tartines by the time we got there but I was still able to try a couple. My friend and I split the ricotta and the whipped tahini tartine. They're a little pricey for not a huge size but they were high quality. That day the jam was a citrus jam and it was a nice contrast to the rich ricotta. It didn't eat overly sweet. The whipped tahini tartine was such a good combination of textures and flavors. The pistachios and pomegranate seeds were my favorite part. ”
